SpaceNet AG's new data center on Marsstraße in Kirchheim-Heimstetten was built between 2018 and 2019. The official groundbreaking ceremony took place on November 14, 2018, with completion scheduled for the end of 2019. The project aimed to implement a high-availability data center in accordance with EN 50600 (VK 4) and ISO 27001.

The building complex was designed in a modular fashion and will offer around 5,400 m² of IT space in its final stage of expansion. The first module was already largely pre-let during the construction phase. The technical infrastructure includes fail-safe power and cooling paths, highly energy-efficient UPS systems, state-of-the-art fire protection, and a comprehensive security and monitoring concept.

The site is located in the Kirchheim-Heimstetten industrial park with direct connections to Munich's transport and fiber optic networks. Upon completion of the construction work, a data center building was created that impresses with its clear structure, high operational reliability, and future-oriented technical standards. It is a reference project for sustainable IT infrastructure in the greater Munich area.

ARGOS provided comprehensive consulting services during the concept phase, supported quality assurance in planning and execution, and ensured reliable technical and economic project implementation. A key focus is on evaluating and assessing general contractor bids (GC) and representing the client's interests during the execution phase.
